Notes:

Here are the biblical answers to the worldview questions. We have been specially made in the “image of God” for the purpose of having fellowship (a relationship) with Him. However, the sin of Adam and Eve changed the world, not just morally, but physically also. The Bible doesn’t reveal and we don’t understand exactly how these physical changes were introduced. Some creation scientists speculate that the potential for these degradations was always present, but that God had been supernaturally withholding them prior to this time. And we can’t blame Adam and Eve for our problems, as the Bible states that “all have sinned” and that none seek after God. To the degree that this world can be fixed, it is done by individuals trusting in the redeeming work of Christ and then being used by God to help others and “make disciples of all nations.” We are all going somewhere after this life. The body will die but the real “us”, our soul, is eternal. We will live forever either with God, in Heaven, or without God, in Hell. God does not send people to Hell, but by their rejecting Him in this life, they get what they wanted, a world where God is not. Unlike the evolutionary worldview where people are insignificant and there is no ultimate purpose to anything, in the biblical worldview people are of central eternal significance and this life has ultimate purpose and meaning.
