Notes:

Evolutionary history teaches an amazing thing, although it is never stated this directly as people would see the absurdity of it: the hydrogen gas of the Big Bang has turned itself into people! With no help from any intelligence. If a college professor rolled a canister of hydrogen gas into the classroom, opened the valve, and stated “let’s wait for the people to form”, he or she would be rightly regarded as a lunatic. But from some reason, when billions of years are put into the equation with a set of smaller steps postulated, the absurd proposition can seem like science! And they say it takes a lot of faith to believe there is a God!
The “big hurdles” that a naturalistic view of history needs to explain are:
Where did the material of the universe come from?
What caused this material to expand rapidly (what ignited the Big Bang)?
How did the first stars form? (As gas clouds tend to disperse, not collapse to the point of nuclear ignition.)
How did planet Earth form? (It is much different from the other planets in our Solar System, yet supposedly originated from a common cloud of gas and dust.)
How did the first living thing arise? (This is the weakest link of the evolutionary scenario, as life is tremendously complex.)
How did simple life advance to complex life? (What is the source of the new genetic information needed.)
How did human consciousness originate?
